Violent Opression in the Zatriarchy!

Violently oppressed by His All Holiness the 103rd Zatriarch of Matbaa, the MN Independent Valiantly carries on with its mission. In a vile attempt to impress his own personal views on the staff at TMI His All Holiness threatens to vituperate us with this verbiage:
Yay!
Though now you've used an avatar from V for Vendetta I'm expecting every word in your posts to begin with V from now on.
Verily, His All Holiness knows full well that V is our sacred icon and that by even uttering the sacred name he violates it! TMI doesn't go around vocalizing the name of the Zatriarch's God, nor threatening him with vague "expectations".

When TMI ventured to establish an account in the Zatriarchy's national forums the administration willingly vilipended the request and ignores it, resulting the the following vapid reply when TMI attempts to access the forum:
Currently your account is waiting for approval from a staff member. Once an administrator has approved your account you will get access to this forum.
TMI hopes this is all an unfortunate variance from protocol, but the Zatriarch's recent silence on this issue is cause for wonder. TMI hope the Zatriarch will soon open his nation to tolerance and understanding of those of a different faith, but until then, the veil of secrecy shall only reinforce the view from the outside that the Zatriarchy is openly hostile to variety.

New Religious Holiday Born: Chistmas

Taking a bold lead in all things "Politically Correct" the nation of Hanover has made the move to rename the ancient holiday Christmas to "Chistmas", and plenty of people followed!

One needs only to look at the greeting, posted by His Majesty King Alexander himself. http://mnn.mncentre.net/forum/index.php/topic,4281.0.html

TMI wonders what kind of "defender of the faith" Alexander is, allowing such things to be published?

The MN Independent deplores this effort to strip the traditional association of the season to the birth of Christ thereby reducing the holiday to an orgy of capitalistic spending with no moral underpinnings. The traditional seasons greetings were followed by nothing more than vanity as people paraded their gifts in an obvious attempt to incite jealousy in others. Such consumerism is disgusting, unless properly set in a Christian celebration.

TMI asks "Has the MN community abandoned the faith in search for something new?"

Well, TMI hopes you all had a merry Chistmas!

Mission Statement

VISION
Readers want a daily dose of the goings on in the MN world, and they don't want it to be specific to one nation. The MN Independent will provide information from many sources, worthy and otherwise. In short, to be a tabloid and have fun doing it so the readers enjoy the ride also.

GOAL
TMI will not be happy until it is the premier source for daily news and information (entertainment) around the Micronational World, to the exclusion of all other sources.

MISSION

Provide indepth content daily, that is humerous and light hearted, at least to me.
